Anyone having issues with Firefox recently? Mine is crashing often - started yesterday. Will just crash, but no problem opening back up with the same tabs.

Same issues, and it has been this way for at least a month. Before the update I was also having trouble, but after the update it is still crashing, maybe even more.

Now that I think about it I uninstalled some extensions and it operated a lot smoother. I think that it might have been a gesture extension responsible for it.

    Re: Firefox

It freezes sometimes, then when I click to open it again after it unfreezes it says firefox is open and needs to be closed before I can open it again.

Mine does it every now and then and then gives me the same message. It is kind of annoying actually.

    Re: Firefox

It freezes occasionally, but not any more than IE used to, and the increased speed and options is worth it.

    Re: Firefox

On my laptop, Firefox has been crashing pretty often for the past few months. Sometimes when I'm in the middle of loading a Java application, or even at random. Other times I will close Firefox and then close my laptop. When I return and try to open Firefox, it tells me that it is currently running and won't open. So I go to task manager and kill the process, then it works.

    Annoying.

you are probably right - I am probably every user in this thread who is reporting experience with the same thing. how I keep it up is beyond me. continually switching user names has probably caught up with my unit.
