    Practice Question

Does ISU's indoor practice facility get up to temperature equivalent to what our players will experience in Tempe? I was wondering if they have a way to prepare for the temperature before heading to Tempe or if they have to wait to get to Tempe to practice in the heat?

Sorry getting a little anxious for the game to start.

    Re: Practice Question

From what I hear, it isn't exactly going to be "heat" down there. Probably temps in the 60's. And I'm sure the indoor facility is usually right around room temp.

Seeing as the highs in Tempe for the next week are upper 50's/lower 60's, I would say "yes"

    Re: Practice Question

I don't think its going to be too warm. Maybe mid 60's. I would hope they keep that building heated that warm.

    Re: Practice Question

I think a lot of people have this misconception that deserts always have to be hot. You do realize that places like Antarctica and Siberia are deserts, right? Deserts have nothing to do with heat and everything to do with precipitation.

And just because Arizona is hot during the summer doesn't mean it's hot there year round. Growing up in a New York Giants household, when they played the Cardinals in Phoenix often times the gameday temperatures were in the lower 40s.

    Re: Practice Question

Phoenix is cool in the wintertime just like Vegas is.

Normal for highs to be in the 50s and 60s this time of year in both those cities.

Actually wasn't thinking of it as a desert. I didn't look up the temps, but have been to Phoenix during Christmas and it was warm enough to swim. Just a question I was thinking about.

It's warmer in the indoor than it'll be down there.
