    Re: Minnesota Boots Safety

Word up here is that Brewster is basically prepping for next year, the seniors are not practicing with the rest of the team.

    From GopherSports:

Gopher head coach Tim Brewster has likened the bowl practices to an extra set of spring practices. A fitting comparison, as the number of practices allowed is the same. Coach Brewster has also talked about how this "extra set of spring practices" will benefit the younger players who will be returning for the Maroon and Gold next season.

To that end, the first three-quarters of Wednesday's workout was focused on the younger players. While the Gopher coaching staff was working with the freshmen, sophomores and juniors, the seniors were in the weight room. When it came time to start working on the Iowa State game plan, the seniors joined their teammates.

From the subject, I thought this was going to be a thread on the proper way to wear footwear north of Iowa...

As did I... and that likely would have been a more interesting subject than this.

    Re: Minnesota Boots Safety

i heard this a few days ago on a sports radio show down here, and they picked isu to win by a score of 24-17!! they said that dandridge was arrested for shoplifting and then he stole a laptop from a teammate and he "left" the team rather that being "booted" from the team.

    This is Ophion speaking.
