    Missed Freethrows

We need to start making a higher percentage of our freethrows, or it'll be haunting us during the conference play. How many did we miss last night, 20?

Little things will be the downfall of our year. Free throws and rebounding.

You'd think with this new facility that they'd be money from the line.

Alright, I'll give you that they're shooting well from the field. Top 25 good, but what I'm saying is that they can go to the facility whenever they want, shoot as mant free throws as they want, ect. They suck at free throws, and they have a place to work on it.

That takes personal focus I guess. Who knows what they do in free time. They may scrimmage and work on their D. Hard to say.

    Re: Missed Freethrows

Here's my summary analysis of FT shooting:

First the good, or at least OK:
Brackins is at 74%, better than his 69% from last year. Gilstrap is at 72%, which is OK, but should be better. He shot 75% at CC last year, so that may go up a little. The Staiger/Scotty combo is 14-17, which is good, but they don't shoot enough to really matter.

    Now the bad:

Garrett has completely regressed. He is 19-30 (63%) on the season. Last year he shot just over 70%. He needs to get it back to that level or better pronto.

Dendy is 8-18 on the season, which is just horrible.

Vanderbeken is 3-9, which is a very small sample size, but he shot 75% last year.

Hamilton is 5-10, and he shot 66% last year.

Boozer is 13-22 (59%) and he shot 75% last year.

But the worst of the worst is Colvin . He is a whopping 7-18 for 39%. That just doesn't work for a point guard.
