we have two point guards who can dunk but refuse to do it

I loved Colvins dunk tonight it was sweet, and i thought Diante had a nice little dunk i mean nothing like brackins or gilstrap, but Colvins was sick, Why dont they ever dunk in games when they can clearly throw down?

When they get on clear break aways i know they can do it pretty easy. They dont get on to many of those, because they usally look to dish it out on the run

I don't care if they dunk or lay up, just as long as it goes in (Diante)

Because if they try and do it all the time, they're going to miss quite a few. If you're a smaller guy, unless you can 100% flush it, you lay it in. PGs in the NBA that can dunk lay it in when they need to.

They don't get steals up top and have clear runs to the basket very often. When they do, they dunk. Its not like these guys are defending in a zone like Rashon and was a human highlight reel.

A layup equals two points and a dunk equals two points. Who cares how it goes in the hoop just as long as it does.
If it is a break away then dunk it. If not make sure the ball goes in the hoop

Dunking isn't as easy as it looks.

You have to get to the basket first....I think they are very apprehensive about this and probably afraid they will be blocked.

Re: we have two point guards who can dunk but refuse to do it

I want them to get the 2 points and sometimes the layup is better than biffing a dunk. I know a dunk is more fun to watch but let's look at it logically, a PG is probably going to go for the layup usually.

Terrible! Clearly this will hold us back in the Big 12!
Seriously, does it matter as long as we get two point?
Sorry to jump on your case... I'm just tired of people complaining, even over small stuff, after a 31 point VICTORY!

Pointless thread. Go to a slam dunk contest if you want to see dunks.

    Wait.... I'm confused.

Colvin and Garrett both dunked in the game tonight, which causes you to start a thread asking why they don't dunk in games.

    Wow.

    FAIL.

I don't know, if the points aren't critical to the outcome of the game, biffing a dunk can be pretty fun to watch.

#1, #4, and #5 are especially good here:
