Favre and Childress going at it

Childress had tried to bench Favre previously | StarTribune.com

Thought it was kind of funny. Childress is not in control of this team one bet.

He's an idiot! How about not calling timeout at the end of the half last night?!?! Have them kick the FG with 30 seconds left and give Percy a chance to make a play, a chance at a screen pass to AP, or something to score!

Instead he lets the Panthers run the clock out

And only Childress would pick Jackson over Favre. Only Childress.

Also why the hell would he take Favre out?! Favre wasn't the problem last night. Line play, not getting 3rd down stops, and key drops (Shincaoe!!!) is what killed them. Oh and Winfield playing the worst game of his life

Yep! Could you imagine if Tony Dungy would have ever gone to Peyton Manning with the Colts up 7-6 and said, "We are going to put in Jim Sorgi!"

Favre hadn't thrown a pick at all that point and wasn't the problem

Childress and the whole coaching staff are a bunch of idiots. Double team Peppers on the end maybe would be a start. Thanks for another loss Childress.

From what I understand... so Brett wouldn't get hurt because Carolina was getting to him repeatedly.

I find it funny that people are ripping Childress. They ripped Childress when he got Bret. The were quiet about Childress when they were winning. Now after a loss, Childress is an idiot again. I liked the guy when he was at Philly.

Actually, no, I've been ripping him all year. He's an idiot.

I don't think Childress is gonna be there much longer. If they don't make it very far in the playoffs this year with the talent that they have, he could be on his way out.

The Vikings will never win anything with Brad Childress at the helm. Ever.

This. I've always hated the guy. He's been an idiot since day 1.

They just signed him to an extension. I doubt he's out anytime soon. Damnit.
