Unfortunately PR didn't make it through the "evaluation" according to the press release from Iowa:
Joining Ferentz among the 10 finalists for the Football Bowl Subdivision are, in alphabetical order: Mack Brown, University of Texas; Pete Carroll, University of Southern California; Al Golden, Temple University; Paul Johnson, Georgia Institute of Technology; Brian Kelly, University of Cincinnati; Joe Paterno, Penn State University; Gary Patterson, Texas Christian University; Nick Saban, University of Alabama; and, Dabo Swinney, Clemson University.

Anyone see that in the first time they showed the trophy case room, in the reflection of the glass, you could see a banner that said "Iowa State University"

Re: Liberty Mutual's Coach of the Year!

I wasn't going to say anything about this until next week, but our Head Coach at Coe, Steve Staker, is one of the five Division III Finalist. 20% of the final decision is based on Fan Voting. Come Tuesday, we're going to need all the fan votes we can possibly get. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Liberty Mutual's Coach of the Year!

I know how much you guys love to vote online, so I'm asking for a huge favor. My Head Coach, Steve Staker, is a finalist for the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award. He is a very deserving person of this award, both on and of the field. Please take a quick second and vote for him. It'd be great to vote each day as well!

    Thanks for the Help Fanatics!!!

Do you guys know the kind of things Pete Carroll does for the Community and people that need extra help? He goes above and beyond what most people do. A majority of people on this site (and Iowa's as well) don't understand what this award is about. It's not who was the best coach in the country, it has to do with what you do for your team and community, along with how your team did this year.
