    Snowblower won't start...

need opinions. New blower (from last year) with electric start, tried starting last night but no luck. I'm afraid I left a little fuel from last season in the tank and it froze the line. Tried messing with the plug, using the crank starter, etc. but no luck.

Can't get out to get new fuel...any opinions/advice on how to get it started??

    There was one?

Is it close to starting? Are you sure you have everything on? Choke, safety key, etc?

First, you eat a nice breakfast. After about 30 minutes, you start out with stretching. Then, you put on some warm clothing, but not too much. Next, you grab a good sturdy shovel and get busy. That's how you start up a snow clearing machine my friend.

try draining some gas out of the Carb. My snowblower has a little spring loaded valve on the bottom of the carb bowl. Every winter I add new gas and push the valve open and bleed off a quarter cup of the old gas. Starts right up. Don't pull out the scew in the bottom of the carb, that is the adjusting screw.

I had to do this also. Once I did that it started right up. Spit out a lot of smoke at first, but after 5 min, it runs great again.

Not looking forward to blowing the drive today.

Got any starter fluid? Use as a last measure. Remove spark plug and spray a little right into the cylinder. Put spark plug back in and try to start. Stuff is very dangerous so be careful.

Just a small squirt of this stuff in the air induction of a diesel truck will do the trick. And they don't have spark plugs. So be VERY-VERY careful.

If you didn't put some sort of stabilizer in the fuel in the spring then you likely have a gummed up carb. Be careful with that, messing with it too much could set you back. Best bet is to take it off (probably 2 screws holding the thing on) and taking it to a small engine place to get it boiled and reset. Maybe a new float. Bad timing.

Try making sure you have enough fuel in it. I Thought I had a little left in mine from last year usuall 1 pull it starts, I hooked up the electric and it still wouldn't go.......Turns out I added a little new fuel and it started right up. Make sure to prime it first.

I'd say if he hasn't figured it out by now he probably never will.

Or the fact that he hasn't logged any activity into his account in 6 months so he probably won't see it.

    Although he might be lurking
