Nationwide and EMC are closed. Unfortunately for me PFG is not going to follow suit. I am sure they will reward us w/ a "jeans day."

Haven't seen anything on Principal Financial. For those who work there, are they open?

Where I work, we've been rewarded for our efforts with the chance to wear shorts all through December. Really.

Nothing yet but if I remember right a couple years ago we had weather like this and they didn't announce it until 8 or 9 that they were closed. Lucky for me I was already at work since I go in at 7!!! Didn't go in yet today since I can't get off my street yet so if they don't clsoe I'll be heading in around 9 or 10. We were told in my area yesterday not to come in if we don't want but of course it's on our dime and time if the whole company doesn't close.

PFG is open, but it's a ghost town at this point. Management is pretty much saying you don't have to come in, but either you have to use PTO, make the hours up, or work it unpaid. They do not close. On the bright side, there is plenty of parking in the ramp.

That is hilarious. We're in the process of finding out details. Update: I guess it's in Corp 2, 3rd floor. I am guessing they are similar to Army MRE's. Where do these sandwhiches come from? Just lying around?

I hope they aren't those frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches that the Army has used for an MRE alternative.

They have clear directions to be thawed for at least 4 hours prior to serving, but that never happened. One of my guys once asked me to file a complaint that he almost broke his toe drop-kicking one of them. But, for some reason, no one took his complaint seriously.

Hope you're getting something better than that. Especially if you have to go outside again to get it.
