I didn't even know they had made a 2nd one until someone told me last weekend. I loved the first one so I will probably go see this one for sure.

    Re: Boondock Saints II

I just saw that it was at the theater. The marketing campaign for it must have been crap. The only reason I knew is because I saw a preview at a different movie.

I don't know if you know this, but Troy Duffy will do as little as possible to spend money

Obviously. Hard to make money when nobody knows it's out there.

The first one is great. The second one I knew was coming but did not know until this thread that it was actually out yet. With the internet and so on it would actually be hard to keep this movie under wraps the way they have.

I loved the first one, although I'm not so sure it's as good as people make it out to be. That being said, I just can't imagine this will be anywhere close to as good as the first one, although it does have Julie Benz in it, and she is smokin' like a tire fire. I'd like to hear from someone after they see it.

    Re: Boondock Saints II

I loved the first one. I don't know that it was great acting or anything but I think there is a large sector of people who like the idea of vigilante justice. I know that I am not necessarily against it in the context of that movie. I think this movie was promoted lightly because they felt the original following was strong enough without having to heavily promote it. I will say I am surprised more of you didn't know it was out. I am not a huge movie junkie that keeps a constant watch on releases but I thought there were a large amount of people that knew baout it. This thing has been in the works for about 5 years too. It took them that long to get it out there which really raises my eyebrows.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

I knew it was in the works for a long time, but that doesn't mean it will make it out.
There's been a long-rumored Vega Boys movie in "the works" since Pulp Fiction came out too that never materialized.

I know two people that have seen it and both said it was very good. Both of them went out of their way to tell me "everybody" from the first one was in the second one. I'm detecting that this could be of some importance.

Has to be a Willem Dafoe reference then.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Rocco's not gonna be back...

Has to be a flashback - that guy was dead at the end of the first movie.

Supposedly it goes back and plays parts that happen prior to the beginning of the first movie but were not actually in it. So yes a flashback and rocco is still dead.
