Bernard Berrian cited for going 104

Star Tribune - Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian was cited for going 104 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone on Friday.

He is the second Minnesota player to be caught going 100 mph this week. Adrian Peterson was cited for a similar offense earlier in the week.

What is it with Viking players going over 100?

Brett Favre was cited for going 30 on the interstate. He is not the first elder to receive such a ticket in Minnesota.

I heard that Aaron Rodgers tried to see if he could top 75 in his hyundai. He had it floored and almost made it, but slammed into reverse when he thought he saw Jared Allen running down the road.

These guys have the money to buy track time and if they were truly skilled drivers they'd know that's the only appropriate place for things like that. Anyone who'd go 100+ on a public road (outside of the highly structured a****ahn) is a reckless fool.

No kidding, are all you guys born with your walker, reading glasses and AARP cards?

IF it wasn't during heavy traffic time, or in a school zone, let him pay his fine and be gone.

because any other time or place means there aren't lifes at risk? if you want to get your rocks off try jumping out of a plane at 10000 ft. I have seen 80 year olds skydive. have you?

Re: Bernard Berrian cited for going 104

So basically what we learned this week is even if high-end automobiles are the medium used, Berrian is nowhere near as fast as AP...

That being said, while I think what they did was absolutely stupid, I won't rip them - I once drove 109 from downtown Des Moines to Ames because I was running late for a meeting (would have driven faster, but the engine was regulated to cut off at 109 - I know this because the engine cut off several times). I acknowledge what I did was absolutely stupid, but I did make the trip in 15 minutes...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
