    Women in the NBA?

David Stern says he could see women in the NBA within 10 years, Lebron's not so sure:

    Re: Women in the NBA?

I agree with LeBron. I don't think there's a chick in the WNBA even close to being able to compete.

    Re: Women in the NBA?

Yeah, I agree. I think Stern is either engaging in stupid PR talk or has gone off the deep end. I can't imagine any woman on the planet keeping up in a league with players like Wade, Lebron, Howard, Paul, etc. They'd get eaten alive.

    Re: Women in the NBA?

I have a tough time seeing a woman competing on a men's team in college---except maybe Bolte, who could play on our men's team...

Not even close. She could maybe play for Ames High. That is not a knock, but womens bball is so much slower and is a completely different game.

This is beyond crazy. I think Dirk put it best. Skill wise-- maybe. Physical wise...no way. Who would they guard?

    Re: Women in the NBA?

I don't think Bolte could play for Ames High. It would still be the same problem of the speed and physicalness of the game. She could maybe play for a smaller high school.

Women's professional sports are equivalent to men's professional sports being played underwater.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

I always love this argument, my wrestling team scrimmaged our State qualifying varsity girls team in high school, too help make them tougher.... We were in wrestling shoes, I don't even know if they scored. Not even close, It would be cool if it would happen, but just two different builds and skill sets. Bring on the you are sexist comments, I can handle it...
