    Re: Tim Floyd article

I felt Floyd always had the best game plans. He had the rare ability of a good coach and good recruiter. I like him a lot, but was sorry to see how two years of the job change rumors hurt our program.

Wasn't it an Agent for Mayo that implicated Floyd? Has that guy ever been forced to testify under oath?

Me too...not sure if he'd come back but he'll be a head coach again soon. I think ISU fans would accept him back with open arms, not sure about Pollard.

    Let's play "What If"......

What if Floyd was our coach and recruiting that prospect at Ames High School

He would have left our program the year before "the prospect" was to enroll and then recommend Roy come take a look at him again.......like Kirk Hinrich.

If he were proven guilty, USC would have received sanctions by now. I bend towards giving Tim the benefit of a doubt, before giving credibility to some scorned O.J. Mayo associate.

Oh you mean like the Dwayne Jarrett situation or the Reggie Bush situation? The NCAA doesn't give sanctions to USC it appears even though there is tons of proof showing that they broke rules.

Floyd cheated. There is no question about that. He wouldn't have quit and let his good name be tarnished unless it was true. He would have stayed and fought the truth
