AMES, Iowa Ė Iowa State senior Alison Lacey posted her second point-assist double-double of the season and six Cyclones finished in double figures to lead the ISU womenís basketball team to a 83-44 win over Mississippi Valley State Tuesday night at Hilton Coliseum.

Lacey had 10 points and tied a career-high with 10 assists in the winning effort. Junior Kelsey Bolte had 14 points and eight rebounds, as the Cyclones improved to 4-1 this season and MVSU dropped to 2-2. Also finishing in double figures were Whitney Williams (10), Chelsea Poppens (11), Anna Prins (10) and Jessica Schroll (10). It was the first time ISU has had six players in double digit scoring since the 2005-06 season.

Iowa State shot 44.6 percent from the field and 32 percent from three-point range. The Cyclone defense held the Devilettes to 31.5 percent shooting from the floor and 11.8 percent from long range. ISU outrebounded MVSU, 57-27. ISUís 57 boards were its best total since pulling down 59 against UMKC in 2008. Denae Stuckey led the charge on the boards for ISU with 10 rebounds. Prins also had nine.
