    Wired Nevada Coach

Nevada coach Mark Fox yelled profanities and appeared ready to use force toward a police officer and game officials after the Wolf Pack lost in the Western Athletic Conference tournament, according to a police report released Tuesday.

The report from New Mexico State University police details a confrontation inside the Pan American Center after Nevada lost 79-77 to Utah State in the WAC semifinals on Friday night.

hmmm thats interesting.. owell.. i picked creighton haha

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: Wired Nevada Coach

When Nevada played Hawaii earlier in the season an assistant Nevada coach had to restrain the head Nevada coach as he looked ready to do some major damage to the referees. I have never seen another coach get as excited as this guy gets.

    Re: Wired Nevada Coach

I haven't seen the video, but "looked ready" and "appeared ready" are different than actually doing something. He may not be a class act from the sounds of it, but the media has a way of blowing things out of proportion much of the time, so I will reserve judgement. I like Bobby Knight too though........

    Re: Wired Nevada Coach

You would hope with how much he is making that he would show a little more class than that. It's not like you see police just making stuff up about having problems with coaches all the time.

My philosophy has always been that if you show agression toward a law enforcement officer, you should be prepared accept certain consequences, like a 9 mm slug barreling towards your forehead...

I just couldn't pick Creighton over Nevada. I really wanted to, but they looked too good.

Those coaches in the state of Nevada are crazy. Did the UNLV coach leave Ames yet?

Apparently, if Nevada coaches lose an important game in a major sport, they are sent back and receive lashings upon arrival. I'd throw a fit about that too.

    Re: Wired Nevada Coach

Read this on ESPN.com in some guy's predictions, I found it quite funny:

    "(3) Texas A&M vs. (7) Nevada
Once the final horn sounds and the Wolf Pack are eliminated, arena security will shoot coach Mark Fox in the neck with a tranquilizer dart.
    "

Don't confuse hope for a plan.
