    Surprise Non-Con Opponents

We all know about UNI, Cal and Duke as remaining difficult non-conference opponents, but some of the oft-overlooked ones are looking much tougher.

Last night Bradley beat No. 20 Illinois in Las Vegas. Earlier this week, Houston beat No. 19 Oklahoma. I really hope more fans show up to make Hilton rowdy for these games as they're looking tougher than many thought.

ISU plays Bradley Sunday, Dec. 20 at 2 PM, and Houston on Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 2 PM. Do the students have tickets to either of these games? I really hope so, if not, what is the athletic department doing!!??

    Re: Surprise Non-Con Opponents

We expected those to be two tough teams. That's part of what I'm excited about this season.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

We expected them to be tough, but I agree, they look even tougher now. They will be bigger games than I anticipated originally.

If we are going to make it to the NCAAs then Bradley, and Houston are must wins IMO. Especially after last night..

I figured Houston and Bradley wouldn't be pushovers. I am surprised that they have both recently knocked off top 25 teams...

    They won't be easy games.

These are break games.....students do NOT have tickets to these games but to be honest even if they did not a lot of them would be there.

This is the schedule we want. To line in with patsies doesnt nothing. You get better by playing tough opponents. I think this will definitely pave the way to a good season.

Very winnable games. And glad they are at Hilton. Those are the teams you kind of forget about but are one of the most important.

What can the ticket office do to put people in those seats? We need a home court advantage, these games can be the difference maker come a March decision to the committee.

We will beat Iowa. But imagine the meltdown if we don't...

I know. This place wont be bearable. I expect Iowa to come out hot and ready to play. They have their backs to the wall and that can make a team dangerous. I hope ISU comes out and smothers them immediately, otherwise it will be a back n forth game.

Oklahoma should not be ranked. Don't put to much into Houston beating OU.

So you see yourself getting mentally prepared for a loss to Iowa now? Really?
