Don't feel too bad. My brother had his BB for over 3 months before he found out he could go on the internet

He just got it for the full keyboard!

I have an iPhone, but I've played with a Droid. Fairly impressive. See what Apple can do in the summer when they release iPhone 4.

    Re: The droid anyone?

Really like my Droid. Had it since it came out.

Hopefully the December update will fix a few issues but overall, it's a bigtime phone that has every feature you'd need. It's like a little computer in my hand.

Got mine at the Verizon store in Campustown yesterday. (Lee's Cellular)

$250 w/ $100 rebate for 2 year contract. I believe Best Buy is offering $199 and you don't have to wait for the Visa rebate card to come in the mail.

I have been using the HTC Tilt w/ AT&T for the past 2 years. I hate how slow Windows Mobile has been. I am thrilled with my Droid. The OS is really quick. Thought about a Blackberry and iPhone too, but am really happy I chose the Moto Droid.

    Re: The droid anyone?

What are everyone else's favorite Android 2.0 apps for the Moto Droid so far?

    I have added the following:

    Advanced Task Killer Free
    WiFi On/Off Widget
    Live Football Scores (Citizen Sports)
    iStockManager (TD Ameritrade)
    The Weather Channel
Google Sky Map (pretty cool astronomy app)
    Google Voice

    Re: The droid anyone?

This is yet another reason I am livid I am stuck with U.S. Cellular for another 8 months. I would love to have one of these. The wife and I went to U.S. Cellular the other day because they are giving away a free phone if you resign your contract for 2 years. The deal only works if you are eligible for new phones, and we were about 3 week away from the point where we could upgrade from our regular phones to smartphones. Their wonderful customer service staff, in their infinite wisdom, wouldn't waive the 3 weeks to let us get this deal...and now we probalby wont be upgrading. The economy must really be doing better when a business refuses to take your money...bunch of fools.
