I use Skype a lot for work since I need to talk with my company in china. Using Skype I can talk to them for free and I got to thinking about how those calls would be traced. Then I got to thinking about college coaches using Skype to call and contact recruits with the fact the Barnes used that to call Williams.

Since coaches only have a limited number of calls they can make to recruits does skyping them count in those calls. You can't really trace Skype calls like you can phone records. I know when texting became big the NCAA also started limiting texts to players. I wonder how long before the NCAA starts to police the use of Skype to recruits.

Sampson would be using Skype to contact recruits like it was going out of style if he was still coaching.
