    Free AntiVirus/Spyware

I remember a while ago there were some sites that a person could down load antivirus and spyware. I was hoping to get a couple of good sites to get antivirus and anti-spyware to down load on my computer as it looks like I am infected and my antivirus has expired. Any help would be appreciated.

go to Cnet.com and search under Downloads. You can read editor and consumer reviews of software, much of which is free. I've been happy with AVG and ZoneAlarm products.

    I use a combination of:

    Avast! (Antivirus), and
    Comodo (firewall)

Both are free and work excellent

    Re: Free AntiVirus/Spyware

I have always used ESET Nod32...it's $30 a year but the best you can get for a paid antivirus/antimalware. It doesn't bog down your computer like norton and mcaffe do.

However I will be switching to Security Essentials when my subscription runs out in a couple weeks. Companies are going to have to refine their business models

Check out the site below that has reviews on all kinds of freeware tools. I currently use Microsoft Essentials and Super Anti Spyware. I have also had good luck with Avast and AVG.

    Re: Free AntiVirus/Spyware

Get on ebay and buy Kaspersky. I just spent $20 and could register the product on 3 computers. I have been very pleased with it so far. Definitely beats going to Best Buy and getting it for $60. It was well worth the 20 bucks to be covered for a year. I have read it's one of the best out there.

    Enjoy.

Is this just anti-virus and malware or does it include firewall as well?
