    Deace

Why does he think we care about Michigan athletics?

I've tuned in a couple times on my way to work and each time he goes on a rant about Michigan football. I know he is a huge fan, but why would his listeners care?

Also, we all know the act is over. He's not a Cyclone fan. Never has been, never will be. Sure, he may side with us in an effort to get more viewers/listeners, but he is anything but a Cyclone fan.

The pathetic thing is is that he blows Miller out of the water. I don't care how many times Miller kisses our ***. As soon as something goes wrong with the Hoks, he is back to bashing ISU. He is just like the rest of them.

Didn't mean to make a new thread (although I will take the credits). Feel free to move this to the thread already discussing these two buffoons.

While this thread has ugly written all over it...I do tend to think Deace likes ISU. Kool-Aid drinker he is not, but overall, he's a supporter of ISU.

    Re: Deace

I won't speak about Miller, but it is clear that Deace couldn't care less about the show. He is never prepared, especially when it comes to cyclone sports. The reason he goes to the Michigan stuff is because that is what he knows. He can't speak intelligently about Iowa State because he doesn't bother to learn anything about it. When Chris Williams was on this week, the show was infinitely better because Chris actually knows something about what he is talking about, instead of regurgitating tired cliches or flat out making things up.

This is simply un-true. While Deace may not have the direct pulse of ISU downpat...he does have a good knowledge base of ISU and the culture it lives in.

I agree with with this...but if you were Deace why would you prepare. Miller is SD lackey Miller does all the work (sets up the topics and schedule) and Deace is the mouth that can carry that show at that(any) hour. I only tune in for the last 15 minutes on my drive in but I heard Jon's god awful solo show and Joan is very very lucky to have Deace.

    Re: Deace

Deace doesn't do bad but his heart isn't in it. IMO I'd love to see Chris get on the show full time so Deace can just focus on the politics.

Have you ever been on live radio? Conducted or produced a multi-hour, daily, local topic driven talk show?
