I assume the countersuit, in which the university claims that she turned the dean into a newt, is ongoing.

They should have done this on Oct. 31st, then everyone would have thought it was a joke.

Re: UNL and Witch Settle Lawsuit

actually, I used to work with a woman who was a pretty devout wiccan. At least she claimed to be devout. I honestly have no idea how to tell a devout wiccan from a non-practicing wiccan that only goes to wiccan church on Halloween and Arbor Day. I mean, is there such a thing as being "kind of a witch?"

"Hey Sally, are you coming to the big wiccan nature festival this weekend?"

"I don't know. It's just gotten too commercial. People forget that it's supposed to be about the magic."

"Aww, come on. There's gonna be people playing drums. Nobody will be wearing shoes. And you don't have to shave your legs. You love not shaving."

    "Yeah, I guess."

"I also heard that they're going to have that one guy with the glass eye give a sermon about how nature is good and technology is bad. You love that guy."

"Yeah, I like to sway slowly while he speaks, and nod my head in the rhythm to music that only I can hear."

"Well, there you go. Should we get going?"

"Yeah, let me get my wineskin."
Anyway, I used to work with a gal that was a wiccan. She was pretty out there.

So she is the witch version of people that only go to church on Christmas and Easter. I bet the other witches give her the snake eye when she shows up.

How did they find out? Does she weigh as much as a duck?

And look down their long, warty noses at her. I doubt she cares, though. Sure, she could show up every week, kill a chicken, cast a hex, and stir a cauldron just like everyone else, but she'd just be going through the motions. It wouldn't mean anything.

So, logically if she is a duck, then she is wood, therefore she is..................a witch?
    YES!

I knew those scales in the courtroom served a purpose other than symbolic!
