    Cyclones in the draft

I see that the Sporting News Draft guide lists DeAndre Jackson as a 3rd round cornerback (9th best), Brent Curvey as a 7th round defensive tackle (30th best) and Scott Stephenson as a 5th round center (7th best).

    Go Clones!

Ellis Hobbes is playing great at CB for the New England Patriots. I hope DeAndre Jackson can get himself drafted fairly high and continue to prove what Cyclones can do in the NFL.

    Re: Cyclones in the draft

Physically Jackson is better than hobbs he is bigger 6'1" 200lbs and faster 4.31. but he doesn't have as good of cover skills. he will need to develop those at the next level going to a team that has 2 solid corners to help him learn like the broncos or the ravens would be very benificial for Deandre.

I'm not just your football coach; I'm not just here to win games. I could not be prouder of who we are and who we are becoming, together. You do things right in the classroom, off and on the field; that's whats's makes us Cyclones and that's what our culture's all about."

Very good point. I couldn't agree more. That was always my problem with Jackson. You looked at his profile and expected some great things, but then his performance on the field was exactly text book. Hopefully with some different coaches he can prosper into something great.

I'm sure he'll make a name for himself as a returner first.
