    Preseason Football Goals

What I wanted to see out of the team this year was pretty simple.

Wanted to win on the road... Check.

Wanted to win at home... Check

Wanted to beat a Big 12 team at home. Check.

Wanted an unexpected win. One we weren't supposed to....Frickin Nebraska! Check Bonus points, Bonus Points!

I was hoping for 5 wins this year. 6 win season with a possible 7th with strong Bowl possibilities. Check Check Check..Woo Hoo. We hit the jack pot!

CPR and crew have totally exceeded expectations! You know in years past we would have lost the Kansas and KSU game and just spiraled downward. This coaching staff and team has shown so much grit and fight, it's just really refreshing.

    Re: Preseason Football Goals

My goal was just to have a road win. This season has been nothing short of amazing.

Another new staff, another new offense, another new defense, 14-18 schoolies short, a recruiting class for the old system - my expectations were zero. These guys can flat out COACH!

    Re: Preseason Football Goals

My expectations for the season have also been exceeded. Anything else from here on out is gravy!

I thought that 5 wins was a good and attainable goal, with 6 possible. We have 6 wins with one game left to play. Let's get 7!!

    Re: Preseason Football Goals

I thought we had an outside shot at 6 wins but did not expect it. I wouldn't of been surprised if we only won 2 games again. I still remember being at the b ball game last year when they introduced CPR. I really had no idea who this cat was but I was ready to go lay out a random person the first time I heard him talk. So looking back, it doesn't surprise me where we are at. The man can flat out coach and so can his assistants. On top of the monkeys we got off our backs this season, they have seemed to put together a solid recruiting class. Let's go get number 7 boys!
