CO personal foul (the big one)

I have a "what if" about what I consider the biggest Colorado blunder of the game.

turning a 1st & 7 into a 1st & 39 with the hold & the personal foul (I really wonder what he said to that ref).

Did anyone notice the guy tried to come back on the field after the ref only to barely be caught by some other players and a couple coaches?

If he had gotten back to the ref ... I'm assuming he would have been ejected .. would that have been 15 MORE yards?

I've never seen 1st & 54 and I'm thinking that was my closest shot at it.

Re: CO personal foul (the big one)

I was sitting close by in the stands and saw the whole thing big 77 for CU had his hands in our DEnd's face and when 77 saw the ref throw the flag and went bullistic at the ref while the play kept going down field and after about 30sec of him jumping up and down yelling he hit him with a personal fowl. Judging how what 77 was acting he felt our dend was doing something to him while being blocked but I don't know what it would be.

I was sitting behind the CU bench and he never went back in the game.
Huge penalty and the coaches were all over him for it. Very stupid on his part.

Neal was in his face and let him hear about the first penalty. Shortly after the second flag was thrown.

I have a feeling they would have just ejected him at that point with no additional unsportsman like conduct flag.

Looking back that was a HUGE moment in the game ... I know we held them earlier, but to get out of that situation by having them take themselves out is always nice.

According to the roster in the program guide, number 77 was a true freshman. At halftime, I took a look at Colorado's starting roster. They are playing alot of freshman and sophomores.

That was hilarious when the ref went running to his flag on the ground and picked it up and threw it again.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

When this happened, my whole group of friends and I started laughing. I have never seen an official do that. I would pay money to find out what he said that made the Ref so ticked. Given all the stuff that Refs usually hear, it must have been something pretty good.

It was absolutely classic! he was walking toward the flag calmly, then when 77 kept on him, he ran to the flag to ring him up again. We all started laughing, I'd never seen anything quite like it.

Has anyone ever seen a 1st and goal from the 39 before?

Didn't we attempt something like this last year? Can't remember the game, but I remember 3 or 4 penalties in a row when we were knocking on the door. I'm sure it wasn't back to the 39, but seemed like it.
