    Coors kidnapping

I was watching TV late last night and it might have been Forensic Files or something similar that had the Coors case on there. It was quite interesting and I never knew about it. Check it out:

For some reason the first one didn't work, I think that second one does.
I thought it was a very interesting case, and as a big beer lover, I never heard about it.

"Although sentenced to life, Corbett, a model prisoner, was paroled in December 1980. He took a job in Denver as a truck driver for the Salvation Army, and lived quietly, speaking rarely of the case."

Dammit. They always let them free. Then he kills himself to take the easy way out. I dont get it.

On a side note. How bad would that suck to be allergic to beer.

Yeah I was wondering why he waited 29 years to kill himself. I wonder if it was cancer, or something like that. But that happened this year and I heard nothing about it.

My dad worked at Coors for years so I did know about it and he called when the guy killed himself - very interesting.

Did you know about another famous beer family kidnapping? This one by the Barker gang no less. - Enjoy

The Hamms story is quite interesting as well.
Apparently running a brewery years ago wasn't as glamorous as one would have thought.
