    Missouri Tickets - Question

Since game is not on TV a couple of us were thinking about heading down. How close prior to an away game can you get tickets through the ISU ticket office? We probably won't have a final decision until the Wednesday before the game. Will that be too late to get tickets?

    Re: Missouri Tickets - Question

Probably too late, but I wouldn't worry about it... we went down 2 years ago and had someone scalp a ticket for <10 bucks within an hour of the game.

If you really want to worry about it, just call the Mizzou ticket office when you know and ask for tickets in the visitor's section. There were a LOT of empty seats two years ago (we upgraded from 2nd deck to front row), and that's when Mizzou was GOOD.

Sections 1-6 or A-C (where we were) and you're golden.

Thanks. I'm not concerned about being able to scalp a ticket but would like to site with ISU fans. Do you remember if the visitors section are decent seats? Also, How is parking?

    Re: Missouri Tickets - Question

The last few years we have decided to go down late, and I just called MUs ticket office and asked for tickets in the visitors section as ISU usually sends some back. That was worked great for us.

Parking.. we just park on the side of the road leading up to the stadium, it is a bit of a walk, but then that is good for you right? lol good luck and have fun.

The visitor section is pretty decent seating. Ive sat there everytime we have played there and I thought it was pretty good. Not really a bad seat in the house.

You probably will have luck buying tickets and then walking over and sitting near the ISU section. That part of the stadium is rarely filled up completely.

The biggest ISU vs Mizzou crowd since reconfiguring seats is still 7000 people less than a sellout.

Look for ticets in sections 1-6. You should be able to move around there.

The tickets being sold in teh south endzone look to be tickets that ISU failed to sell.

    Re: Missouri Tickets - Question

It is hard to say how many empties there will be. MU sold out for friggin baylor for cryin out loud. The fact it isn't on TV will only help the ticket sales. I think MU's avg attendance so far this year is around 66k. Either way, they won't stop selling GA/SRO tickets so you can get in no matter what.

    Re: Missouri Tickets - Question

When are they gonna announce the time for this game? I would like to go down there, but I have to drive back to work that night. I could make it if its an early game.

There are lots of places to park and tailgate. Some are free, some are not. Very few people (relatively speaking) park on the streets.
