    Press Conference

On twitter CycloneFb:Bill Bliel will be speaking in place of Paul Rhoads as Iowa State faces Colorado in its final home game of the season. We begin in 15.

That was at 11:14, anyone else think this is weird?

Coach Rhoads is attending the funeral of a brother of an ISU player today. That's why he is gone. I have no clue who the player is.

Condolences to the family of that player. Glad to see Coach being there for whomever it is during an incredibly difficult thing.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

BTW -- that information is according to a press release sent out to members of the media last night.

    Re: Press Conference

I have heard from several players that they too will be attending the funeral today. Great to see them rally around their teammate in a difficult time. Don't know who it is, but hope they know that the Cyclone Nation is behind them.

I heard it was the back up punter's brother who passed.

    Re: Press Conference

On the coaches' show, he said he was in Sioux City for a funeral.

I wondered what was up; KIOW has a local sports talk show at 5:30, and they said something to the effect that CPR was somewhere (I did not hear where), and they did not know if he would be back for the show, do it by phone, or have an assistant do the show. He made it back in time for the show(with JP doing the first 30 minutes).
