Love the irony in this poll...

7-2 Oregon and 7-2 USC, oregon wins head to head. USC sits 4 spots ahead of them.

I thought Boise should have jumped Cincy too, but I knew it would be hard since the BCS doesn't take style points.

TCU just keeps moving up. They'll be the North division champs biggest cheering section.

Yeah it does. Only when the BCS is all computers will it really be fair.

I really hope USC doesn't get an at large bid if they don't win the Pac 10.

Irony is LSU losing and moving up from where they were last week.

When your only 2 losses are to the #1 and #2 teams, and the losses were by 10 or less in both games, id say you can make a definite case for being top 10 (and even moving up, showing you belong just below them in the polls). Definitely a better case for the top 10 than USC, who has lost to 7-2 oregon and 3-6 washington

I see your point (that both games were close), but you don't generally see teams move up after a loss. Sometimes they move down after a close win, but never up after coming up short.

    Chaos. I love it.

    Re: 11/8 BCS rankings

It's not chaos until Texas loses ... or even better all three end up with 1 loss.

In a perfect world the BCS computers would ask for a TCU / Boise St matchup... the SEC would go nuts.

    Re: 11/8 BCS rankings

USC being in there is a complete and utter joke. Oregon and Pitt should both be ahead of them. Possibly Miami too.
