    Shoutouts for Saturday

I thought Josh Raven did an excellent job covering the outside and making many tackles. He helped to keep the score down.

Colin Franklin looked like our best receiver with four catches and really wanted the ball. I would throw to him all day after watching a game of receivers who cannot get open.

    Other nominees?

    Lenz?

Another big surprise for me was Jake McDonough. Rumor has it that even though he was sick for the better part of his first year and a half, his work ethic wasnt that great either. Talking to one of the players, they said that under the new coaching staff, he has really got his head back on straight and has been busting his *** in practice to finally make it into a game. Great to see he not only got onto the field, but also got his first tackle.

I thought Garren played pretty well. They ran outside a lot and he was in on a lot of tackles. It appears they didnt like running up the middle and the option was working.

    Re: Shoutouts for Saturday

I thought Raven was going to be a GREAT LB for us. He hasn't lived up to the hype I created for him, but it was great to see him have a fantastic game.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Our kickoff coverage team. Only got 2 chances, but did a very solid job.

Frere for me, he is a non-flash guy who does not get enough credit, to me plays with the most heart, goes down a back in a couple plays later....
