Out of curiousity, what was entertaining about Barnes' interaction with the crowd?

    Re: Notebook on Tonight's Game

I agree Chris, DG is much improved, but I still want to see him do it against better competition. I'm very optimistic though.

Speaking of point guards, I think it's pretty apparent already that C. Colvin is the future point of ISU basketball. I know this statement isn't particularly surprising given his pedigree coming out of Chicago, but the fact that he'll be a starter before the year is over is. He's fun to watch as he wreaks havoc on opposing defenses.

Just the fact that he seemed to be having fun with the students. He'd wave when they chanted his name. I even saw the young man smile a few times.

He smiled a lot. Has a great sense of humor. Great interacting with younger kids asking for autographs. Wasn't just scribbling his name...actually took the time to get their names and write personals.

Probably just picturing himself out on the court next year!

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

Hey, I hope it comes true just like everyone else, but I (not being far from his age) put myself in his shoes, in my mind, and my choice would not be ISU.

I've kind of been harping on here that I hoped our students would do a good job doing some Harrison cheers tonight. They did. Good job students!

It probably doesn't matter a ton, but it can't hurt and it might make him think twice about disappointing everyone here that loves him.
