Big day coming for our running backs!

With our running backs at full strength, and the OL back in tact, it should be a big day for our running backs. It will be interesting to see if ARob goes all the way or others see PT. I'm hoping ARob is near 100% again. That would be a real boost.

I hope he can go the whole way. He is BY FAR the best back we have. And one of the best in the Big 12.

Re: Big day coming for our running backs!

Coach Rhoads has really shut down the channels to inside info. This has to be the least amount of info coming out of practice since I start visiting this site. I wonder how Bo's practices went this week? Your right, a healthy Arob is really good for us and a healthy AA is even better. Is Arob still leading rushing in the big 12 after all of the time missed?

All this optimism makes me nervous.

Re: Big day coming for our running backs!

I truely hope it works out in our favor and we prevail. Our strength is running the ball, but their d strength is stopping the run. Plus they are coming off a defeat that will have them angered and wanting to rebound quickly. The key for us IMHO is to get those 3rd down conversions, stay on the field and just keep plugging away. If it has to be done with 4 yards at a time then so be it. Keeping their pass happy offense off the field is key.

When was the last time we beat a ranked team at home? I seriously like our chances in this game. Our D needs a couple of stops!

CU in 2005. Should've had OU in 2007 and Kansas in 2008.

In recent history ISU has choked away more games to Kansas than anyone else. Maybe next year is ISUs time to beat the J-birds.

I agree w/the OP. ARob is 187 yards shy of 1,000 rushing on the year. I think he hits the 1K mark this weekend and the Clones pull off the W 44-38. Lets go bowling!!!
