    Re: Nice Wes Eikmeier article...

As always, good find. What I really like about this kid, is that he's a gym rat. Loves basketball, wants to get better and knows what it takes. Seems to have a great attitude as well.

This is the second time in about the last 2 months that KETV has done a story about Eikmeier so he must really have people talking. Of course 26 points a game will do that. I think Mac may have got in early enough before everyone realized what a good player he is.

    Re: Nice Wes Eikmeier article...

    Nice find.

Read the article and it said:

"Wes Eikmeier has helped his team to an 18-4 record this season, securing the Knights a Nebraska Boys Basketball State Tournament berth on a wild card."

I'm not familiar with how the Nebraska Boys Basketball State Tournament is ran. What is a wild card berth?

Cool. I'm happier with this recruit every time I read an article. Great find.

    Re: Nice Wes Eikmeier article...

I recall reading an article about this. They got beat in what I think was a sub-state district final game, but Nebraska has wild card spots that allowed them to get into state. I'm not sure what the formula is, but they had a lot of ways that they could get one of the wild card spots.
