    Osborne/Snyder

Some of the Big Red faithful are not enamored with the demeanor of "Baloney". They cast an eye at K-State's surprising success with the reincarnation of Bill Snyder and wonder if Tom Osborne would take the plunge. I think T.O is five years older than Snyder, I am thinking 74 compared to 69, and because of that I do not think he will do it. Am I right on the age of the two? I was surprised that B.S. would risk his reputation and feel the same way with T.O., particularly since T.O. has multiple Nat. Championships. But maybe that is what B.S. still wants.

    Re: Osborne/Snyder

Bill Snyder is 70 and Tom Osborn is 72...pretty much the same.

Tom would never come back...he's got a comfy AD job where he can still influence football.

Let's hope that Bill never sniffs a national championship...

I can't imagine TO thinking he could restore the greatness that NU once had...that said...lots of big...wait...HUGE egos in that profession! If he feels he is healthy enough and has the energy...why not?

    Re: Osborne/Snyder

Bill Snyder came back to in his own words, "to calm the waters". He has stated many times that the only responsibility he feels is to his players. The goal being "to make them a little better every day".

A college friend of mine is probably Bill's best friend in this world. They also happen to be next door neighbors. He claims that Bill really does not have an ego, that Bill could really care less what anyone thinks of him other than his team.
