    Beatles Album +/- Thread

Listening to the Remasters. Love going back and giving these a revisit.
So in the spirit, let's figure out which album this site prefers. Simple rule. One vote per round.
    +/- System.
    I'll start:
    Studio albums
Tough to pick the most "lacking". They are all salty in relation to purpose, influence and overall ease of listen.

So one for the White and Abbey Road, which would you take from?
You can just copy/Paste. Add one to White, and take from another, if you'd like.

    Re: Beatles Album +/- Thread

Hmm - I'd put Revolver and Abbey Road in a tie for best, and am not as big of a fan of Yellow Submarine, Rubber Soul, and Let It Be as overall albums.

    As a whole album:

    Please Please Me (1963) 9-
    With The Beatles (1963) 8+
    A Hard Day's Night (1964) 10
    Beatles for Sale (1964) 8
    Help! (1965) 8+
    Rubber Soul (1965) 7+
    Revolver (1966) 12
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) 11+
    Magical Mystery Tour (1967) 9
The Beatles ("The White Album") (1968)10+
    Yellow Submarine (1969) 7+
    Abbey Road (1969) 12
    Let It Be (1970) 8-

    My bad Angie:)
isukendall has caught on with what I was trying to go with. One vote for everyone. Then once an album is eliminated, we can go again.
Does that make sense? My head hurts.

I get it now - I thought it was a ratings system. :)

Well, shoot. I'm going to go for Revolver for best, Yellow Submarine for worst.

    Best freaking band ever.

I love Abbey Road....tough to pick it over the White Album.... (Just so that they are #1 and #2 though) I favor the later albums though when talking Beatles. If I had to pick a least fav....it would be one of the early ones...Beatles for Sale.

    I mean...I love 'em all.

How about this, who is your favorite Beatle? I'm a big Paul fan. If I had to choose.

    Per WalkingCY

Favorite Beatle....I think John led them to their development. So John for what he brought creatively to the band.

I love watching Ringo in "Hard Day's Night," but I think I'd have to choose John for his vision. Harrison has created some of my favorite songs, though, and it can be argued that he's most talented... Really hard to choose.

Abbey Road, no doubt. Went to London a few years ago and one of the highlights of the whole trip (aside from walking The Old Course while in Scotland) was seeing Abbey Road Studios...and yes, myself and 3 guys walked the crosswalk and damn near got ran over.
