    Lyle played a heck

of a second half of football saturday. It's what I expect him to do when we recruited him. He is pretty undersized for that position. He had a great ball deflection on that last drive by Nebraksa. Then he hurried the QB while being Facemasked and held at the same time that cause the play to not work. Just thought I would say Great job Lyle.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Yes, I noticed this too. He was basically held on nearly every passing play NU ran during the second half.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Re: Lyle played a heck

He's not too undersized, he is actually bigger than most of the DEs we've had over the years. Actually has some height too. He has been looking really good, yeah he got held bad on a couple of calls they missed!

Undersized? You're in for a big suprise with future recruits if you think Lyle is undersized for a DE at 6'4'' 260.

    This.

His size is on par with most NFL DE's.

The Nebraska game was the biggest impact he's made all year.

    Re: Lyle played a heck

Lyle is NOT undersized. and I did notice that he played one heck of a game.

I tend to watch the DE's more since thats what i played in HS, and I felt like we could have sent a blitz between the tackle and guard with the outside pressure Lyle was putting on, but we never did.

    Re: Lyle played a heck

I too agree that he played really well last weekend and hope he keeps it up as I think he has been the 1 true bright spot on our D line this year. You hear his name called a lot. He's in on a lot of plays and is about the only guy we have up front that can get a decent rush on the QB every once in a while. Here's to the Lyle and the rest of the team progressing every week and the Cyclones ending the season 9-4!!! CPR is Big 12 COY and in strong consideration for national COY if we can go 9-4. I haven't decided which one of our final 4 regular season games we lose but I think we drop 1 more and then win a bowl game!
