    fantasy baseball

I posted a few days ago about us starting a CF fantasy baseball league. I saw a few people interested. I can start it, i usually use Yahoo.
BUt when would a draft work for anyone interested, date and time. What kind of stats used, the basic or throw in some others like singles, doubles, triples, walks, OB% etc.
Anyone interested, post your thought about what setting you would like the league to have. 12 players works well, but i dont think we should have more than 15.

    Re: fantasy baseball

See, if it were anything but baseball I would join. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE baseball. But fantasy baseball is such a long season. Only once have I stuck it out through the entire season. It's hard to keep up with all the players on your team since they don't play on the same night. In football you pretty much have 1 day a week to worry about it, but with baseball, having games everyday is a bit much for me.

This is also why it's hard for me to keep up with other teams besides the Cubs during the season. In football you have 16 games and every game is huge, while in baseball you have 162 games and if you lose one its not the end of the world. However, I still think the end of the season in baseball is extremely exciting. It seems there is always like 5 teams battling it out for that wild card spot. And then you think, man, if we could have had just 1 of those games from early in the season back, which of course means, every game does count.

It's just hard, for me at least, to follow closely during the season. Let me know when fantasy football is starting up again!

    Ok, i made a league.

    league id: 178944

I set the draft for monday, march 26th at 6:30 pm. I can change the date or time if we can find a better time for everyone. I can also change the setting for stats used. I set it up for up to 15 people. Hope to see a full league!
