I say sit out ARob for A&M game

.... IF he is not 100% that is

I liked the fact that ARob sat out the entire Nebraska game and continued to recover. In fact, the television crew said he didnt make the trip to Lincoln. I suggest IF HE NOT 100%, we sit him out at the A&M game too. Its a road game and more than likely we will lose a very close game even with a semi-healthy ARob. Why not let him heal some more and have him contribute to a STRONG win over Okie State on National TV instead the next week? Thoughts?

IMO we stand a better chance against A&M with a banged up Arob than a 100% Arob against OSU. He was at the game Saturday, in street clothes. Showed him after the CPR opening interview.

    This...

    If he's 75% he plays.

    He was there Saturday.

Additionally, I'd leave it up to A-Rob. If he can play, let him. If he doesn't think he can go, sit him down.

He was there, the TV crew was wrong.

If ARob can play, we need him and he will play. Period.

Re: I say sit out ARob for A&M game

I think this point has been made every week since the KU game. I said the same thing last week, but now that he has had a week off, I think it's time to play him, epecially since we now have a shot to win the North all of a sudden.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I saw pictures of ARob on the sidelines in street clothes at Saturday's game.

He was there. He's on the sidelines during the broadcast (not dressed out) and in the celebration video, he's clearly visible.

The announcers on the broadcast were misinformed...not surprising, since Dave Lapham has said that #2 Sedrick Johnson plays defense. He can't get it through his head that we have offensive and defensive guys with the same numbers.

Re: I say sit out ARob for A&M game

Going to be a bit warmer down in College Station which is only going to help his groin.

The previous posters were right, he is not going to be 100% the rest of the year.

2 weeks is not quite enough time but I think it is enough time to get him to 80%, which is still better than who we have behind him. No disrespect to the others either, he is just that good.

Saving him for OSU? That could be a waste. I would rotate him in and out depending on the situation.

    Play him.

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, has run with a strained groin. I think ARob will tell us if he thinks he can't handle it...

Sit everybody until Colorado because that is our best shot at our 6th win.

Re: I say sit out ARob for A&M game

I saw him during warmups without his uniform on. I knew that was a bad sign that he wasn't going to play.

Anyways, 75% of a healthy ARob is better than 100% of everyone else we have.
