    Tyler Hansborough

Did you guys see him get clocked against Duke? His nose was bleeding like crazy, it looked rather intentional to me. Crazy deal!

Definitely an intentional foul. I'm a UNC fan so I was pretty ****** at that one, but I guess the question has to be asked...What was Roy Williams doing leaving in Hansborough late in that game?

have you ever played basketball? i know it might have looked bad, but if you ever played the game, at an intense level, you would know that fouls like that happen all the time! when you practice to go hard 24-7, things like this tend to happen. im not a duke fan, however i wil say that coach k would never stand for someone intentionally going after another player like that. all that was, was solid hard-nosed bball!

    Re: Tyler Hansborough

Billy Packer was going crazy, saying it wasn't an intentional foul, but I thought that the Duke guy lowered his hand when Hansborough lost the ball. I am glad Duke is getting beat. I wish Packer wouldn't be the lead guy with Nantz, Packer is terrible.

First off, I cannot stand Duke or UNC....(Disclaimer before being called a Duke homer)

Personally I thought the Duke guy was going for the block, however, Hansborough lost the ball just before Henderson came down with the hand. I personally don't believe an ejection and 1-game suspension should have been given out. I would agree to a flagrant foul due to the force exerted during the shot block attempt.

That should not have been shown prime time due to kiddies - that was a gusher.

I'm not a Duke or UNC Fan at all, but I don't understand how you're going to block a shot with a clenched fist leading with your elbow.

Those were my thoughts as well.

I was impressed with the way Roy & Coach K huddled while the refs were sorting things, giving the appearance of civility. Their actions possibly kept the arena from taking on an angry air. Final thought - don't you think Coach K would've been more vocal about the DQ if he didn't think it had merit?

Have you ever watched basketball? It was clearly intentional. Watch the replay. He looked like Macho Man Randy Savage. The fact you say things like this tend to happen when almost everyone agreed it was the worst play they have seen in years shows you are a duke homer.

    Re: Tyler Hansborough

To me it looked like he was going up for a hard foul and then noticed the ball wasn't towards the hoops so he tried to draw contact to prevent a shot from going up.

I agree with the above post that it should've been a flagrant but I don't think he was taking a swing at Hansborough.

    Re: Tyler Hansborough

billy packer is such an idiot. i don't care if the starters were not suppose to be in the game with 14 seconds. that is no reason to intentionally injure a person. he was saying it did not look intentional. was having a stroke or something. no wonder everyone hates duke!
