I'll say the no brainer of the century, that KState game could hurt us bad.
We don't have the remaining schedule that some of the other teams do, so that helps too.

Well of course we have a shot...but much needs to be done before it's legitimate.

A predecessor to this question would be...when and for how long are AA and ARob healthy?

No, not until we have our starting QB and RB back on the field.

Tie breaker goes to K State so some real crazy stuff would have to happen. I would love to end up playing Texas in the b12 championship.

Re: Does ISU have a shot at winning the North?

Sorry, I had to say no. I do think 2 more wins could do it for us, but without a healthy ARob it is going to be DIFFICULT. And now if Arnaud has to fight through an injury, I'm really worried.

Unfortunately I don't think so. I think we'd actually have to run the table to have a shot, and nothing against our guys, but I don't see that happening.

Re: Does ISU have a shot at winning the North?

I think we can take it with a 3-1 finish. Down here in KC, there are several members of the local media predicting KSU to lose out from here on. I think 5-3 in conference will take it. We have the tiebreaker with Nebby, and I don't know that KSU or KU will get to 5 conference wins.

However, I don't think we finish 3-1, especially if we aren't healthy, so I voted no.

While I agree with this I guess I can't say it is impossible after what I witnessed on Saturday. ISU has a remaining schedule that I would have to say is pretty favorable. We play 2 South teams the better of which is at home in Ames in November, and then we have a struggling Colorado team at home, then a road game at Mizzou. I can't argue against CPR and what he is preaching because I can't remember seeing an ISU team making this kind of improvement each week. Our tackling was outstanding IMO and we were making hits and getting our hands on the ball what seemed like every tackle. If Arob and Arnaud can get healthy then we are a dangerous team for sure.

Who do the Mildcats have left on their schedule?

A shot? Yes. A realistic, probable shot? No.

Need a healthy A-Rob and Arnaud the rest of the season to do that.

After a magical win against NU, we still have doubters.

It was still just one game. It was magical, to be certain, but we still have 4 very tough games remaining.

Re: Does ISU have a shot at winning the North?

    go 1-3, not a chance
go 2-2, we need lots of other things to happen, but still a slight chance
go 3-1, yes, but we need a few other things to happen
go 4-0, (highly unlikely) but then i think it's ours

Beat A&M and we move one step closer.
