Big sports weekend in Ames - Nov 6-8

Sports overdose for cyclone fans: the week of November 6th, 7th & 8th!

    Friday night: Men's B-Ball exhibition vs. UNC-Pembroke @ 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: ISU Football vs. Oklahoma State
Saturday night: Volleyball vs. Nebraska @ 6:30 p.m.
    Sunday night: Women's B-Ball vs. Minnesota-Crookston

I realize the b-ball games are exhibitions but these are huge games for both volleyball and football. For anyone out-of towners, what a way to spend a weekend in Ames and O.D. on great Iowa State sports!

    You forgot one:

    Friday night: Men's B-Ball exhibition vs. UNC-Pembroke @ 7:00 p.m.
All weekend: Harrison Barnes unofficial visit to ISU
Saturday: ISU Football vs. Oklahoma State
Saturday night: Volleyball vs. Nebraska @ 6:30 p.m.
    Sunday night: Women's B-Ball vs. Minnesota-Crookston

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

We'd better get ready for HB - Duke's crowd had chants for him all game long tonight, like "Harrison Barnes - This is Home."
Let's show him where his "home" really is!
