Andy Staples article about today's game!

Great read! Highlights Wally Burnham's hire as the turning point at ISU. Also read the last paragraph about a certain former ISU Head Coach.

Second, which came first at Iowa State? The Chizik or the Rhoads? Does Rhoads deserve all the credit for matching Gene Chizik's two-year win total in eight games, or was the first-year Auburn coach telling the truth when he said he had laid a decent foundation in Ames. It's probably a little of both, but Rhoads certainly deserves credit for one major improvement.
No way we win this game with Chizik on the sidelines.

I liked this article but I really don't think Chiz deserves any credit. He was a decent recruiter but if you can't get the most out those players it doesn't matter.

CPR on the other hand gets the players to give 100%. He hired good coordinators and he knows how mange the game. CPR deserves the credit. He is the chicken and the egg.

Wally Burnham is without a doubt the best coordinator I can recall in my history of being an Iowa State fan.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?
