    Beer Experts -- HELP!

I am attending an Oktoberfest party tomorrow evening and have been asked to bring a selection of favorite German brews.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help...one thing I know about the typical Iowa Stater is that they know their beer!

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Stiegl (which I guess is actually Austrian, but whatever, it's amazing).

BBK Pilsner & BBK Marzen are also pretty good.

Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock. Look for the "free prize" on each bottle. Comes in 4-packs and is available at the undisputed champ of beer purveyors in central Iowa, Cyclone Liquors.

Kostritzer, it's a dark lager. If you're lucky, you might be able to buy it in mini-kegs also.

If you can get Spaten I highly recommend it.

Actually, in Germany there's a completely unrelated Budweiser beer. Here it's called Burger Brau though, which is another good beer if you can find it.
