Also, you're probably better off transcoding it unless you need it in HD, in which case you are probably better off splitting it into parts. 2-3GB is a pretty huge file. Unless it's a very long video (like 2-3 hours) most people's connections won't be able to keep up with that.
Those sites are all going to transcode it anyway, so you might as well get it close to what you want it to be in the first place.
