    Home NAS

Anyone have any experience with a home NAS device? I have considered free NAS, but for reliability/cost/power consumption decided against DIY.

I actually just ordered the Buffalo DriveStation FlexNet 1TB anyone care to share their experiences with this device or something similar?

I use a Western Digital 1TB external that connects to the router. Simple soft ware finds it and makes it easy to access on all systems. So far I love it.
Using it mostly for just back up as I just lost my old harddrive.
