Dodgers: Will Broxton be back as the closer next year?

So, were any Dodger fans here really surprised by tonight's turn of events? Broxton seems to have trouble keeping runners off the bases, which isn't a good thing for a closer, especially at the LCS level. During the regular season, he's good enough to get out of most jams, and run up his save numbers.

He doesn't seem have that Mariano Rivera type mental toughness which is needed to bear down at this level. A walk...a hit batter...and then the pitch to Rollins seemed to be right down the pipe with little movement.

I think both Broxton and Billingsly are suffering from a bit of tired arm... They will both be back and dominating next year. Broxton is one of the top 5 closers in the league, he just isn't ready for a four out save in cold weather...

I got spoiled by Gagne and Kuo. Broxton terrifies me every time he comes in. I do not like him as a closer - and that has nothing to do with last night.

I really don't like Broxton for some reason... he just looks like a big turd out there...

maybe I don't like him because he usually sits the Cubs down 1-2-3 with three k's.....

Don't you kind of need to be ready for that? Two years in a row he's blown a critical save in the LCS with LA on the verge of tying the series 2-2...I really can't see Torre putting up with that too much longer (2008 was a tie game, but he gave up the go-ahead 2-run homer).
