1620 the Zone had PR on for an interview today at 2:30. He was very non-committal in terms of A-Rob. I didn't come away with a very positive opinion trying to read between the lines. He talked about how the injury is a season long rehab process and that nothing will be known until he tries to give it a go in practice on Thursday.
This sounds like a more realistic assessment than the report in the DMR. Keep in mind that even if he is able to get through practice on Thursday, he is more so than most players always one play away from retiring to the sideline.
Paul pretty much said that Arnaud will be back in time for the Nebraska game, but he wasn't quite as definate about ARob.
I would love nothing more than to see ARob carry us to an upset in Lincoln, but I'm thinking it might be wise to just put him on the shelf for this game and see if he can get some serious healing done before we head into some games where we have a better chance of winning. Then again, I'm no coach.
The fact that Vegas currently has the game off the board tells me that the injury status of key players is very much up in the air. No real surprise as there has been discussion all day about not really knowing much until Wed or Thurs.
