    Suh vs. ISU O-line.

I know Nebraska has a very good D-Line especially with Mr. Suh at end. How is ISU's O-Line going to match up against these guys? Will we try to double Suh, or chip him with the TE? Will we play it straight up and see how Haughton fares? Personally I am excited to see how the O-Line response to a real challange. We've been pasting D-lines all year...lets prove we can get it done against one of the best!

Suh is the best DL I have seen play all year in CFB. Will be good experience for our guys.

Suh is a DT not an end.......he should be really hard for you guys to match up against and if you can take him out Crick has also been wreaking havoc beside him when Suh cant shake the double team..

Biggest test for our offensive line by far. Very interested to watch this match-up and how our staff plans to slow him down. So far, I've been impressed with the gameplans and in-game adjustments we've made.

    This one will be tough.

My mistake, I thought I saw him lining up at end against Virginia Tech...pardon my ignorance.

Quick passes will be the key. Can we maintain the ability to get the ball out quickly on timing routes? It's happened the last couple weeks some, just not consistently. If we can, we have a shot.

I have a feeling though, we'll see a very different scheme than we have the past few weeks. Won't need to load up against the run if we don't have ARob - so there will be more guys in coverage (see ISU vs Iowa 2009).

Suh actually plays DT, not DE. He will line up primarily across from Lamaak with maybe some match ups against Reggie. Suh is an outstanding player, but I believe that we have enough talent in the OL to win a fair share of the battles. I also believe that Herman can utilize some effective play calls to neutralize the impact of the interior DL.

    Re: Suh vs. ISU O-line.

I think (and/or hope) that Herman uses mis-direction plays to require Suh and Crick to slow down a second before charging. Hopefully we can get them to thinking which should open up our game.

    Will will win!

    Re: Suh vs. ISU O-line.

What little they ran Tech had some success when running right at Suh. He's so fast he can run right by the play - if it's right at him.

its obvious where you are coming from, but....

here is a line to keep in consideration:

    Texas Tech Total Yards 259

That is one of the lowest yardage outputs by TTech in years! so yes judging by that and watching the game, they did wreak havoc on TTech....

NUs problems are on the offensive side of the ball....

    Re: Suh vs. ISU O-line.

Not knowing exactly how TTech approached their game plan and handling Suh, I don't know if it's possible we take the same approach, but I think it's fairly logical to use a similar game plan. Misdirection plays, double teams, option reads etc..

    Re: Suh vs. ISU O-line.

I think ISU still needs to run the ball in order to win. Nothing slows down an aggressive D-Line like a consistent running attack. If ISU can at least make Nebraska respect the run, we have a shot.
