    Attendance at Baylor game

They said on the radio that attendance was 42,253. I think the 6 pm start definitely hurt the attendance. I know I couldn't go because of some other conflicts but the 6 pm start made it impossible.

    Ooops. Just saw other thread.

It looked like a sell out. I love night games at JT. (but that's just me)

Radio announcers sure seemed to be disappointed with the attendance anyways.

    Re: Attendance at Baylor game

I was disappointing. I really wish it would have been full it looked like all the top corners were empty except the student section. I could be wrong, i couldn't see above me (i was across from the student section). I think we should be able to get a way better showing for homecoming. It wasn't that cold!

Corners were empty, the hills were half empty. You would have had to put in at least another 15k to call it close to sellout.

Maybe only 42,000, but it was a great crowd.

They were half full! What I loved tonight was the participation factor. We actually did the wave for 6 or 7 times. Normally I would've thought that this was lame, but I loved it tonight. There were other things the crowd did that they normally don't, but I'm going blank as to what they were... oh wait, the student section throwing towels with a coordinated effort was awesome. Not sure why, it just was.

No way, the corners were empty, heck 1/6th of the seats on the 50 in the lower east side were empty. It was a weak crowd for a homecoming.
