    Texas Tech or Nebraska ?!?!?!

Who do you guys think will win this game?

I'm leaning towards Nebraska, just because of Lincoln and their defense.

The problem is, I'm not sure that their offense can score enough against a team like Tech, who I would assume will put up at least 20 points.

What are your thoughts? I need help with my pick.

Tech is not the tech of the last few years. Nebraska rolls.

Re: Texas Tech or Nebraska ?!?!?!

NU's will not be able to keep up with Tech, but you can count on the NU Defense to score or set up a score for about 21 pts.

Is Potts ready to go? If not, go with the Corn.

Not so fast my friend! I would have agreed with you after the first game or two, but Potts is coming into his element.

I see two possible scenarios. Nebraska barely scores enough points to win in a slugfest or TTU wins by over 2 TD's.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Re: Texas Tech or Nebraska ?!?!?!

    Short answer: Nebraska

National rankings in 3 key categories

    NU
    Scoring Offense: 15
    Scoring Defense: 2
    Turnover Mgn: 15

    Tech
    Scoring Offense: 2
    Scoring Defense:42
    Turnover Mgn: 99

Memorial Stadium is the hardest place to play
The NU front 7 is going to be very good at closing passing lanes. (Could be another int for Suh)

NU, ranked 15th in scoring offense can put up some points too.

    Definitely Nebraska

Re: Texas Tech or Nebraska ?!?!?!

I would like to see Nebraska but I think it will be Tech. As long as the O-Line of Tech can protect their QB and give him enough time to throw the ball, I think the Tech receivers will beat the Nebraska secondary.

Nebraska rolls? My ***. This squad SHOULD have been beaten easily by Missouri..(They only lost because of those stupid turnovers in the 4th...other than that they were dominated throughout the game. Yeah, the momentum collapsed for MU in the 4th...but it was pure luck to what happened at the end of that game.) Neb's offense has to put up numbers to win this one against Tech.

I do feel it will be a good-close game. Look for Tech to win IF they don't have any turnovers. IF the Neb's defense can muster up some turnovers....I see the crowd building...and they would squeak one out....only because they are at home.

Until Nebraska shows they can start beating Tech again I'll take the Red Raiders.

Nebraska wins this game in my opinion. Their defense is the real deal - looked great against Mizzou last week

Potts didn't play in the blowout against K-State last weekend.

Some walkon quarterback was playing since Taylor was out with a concussion

Sheffield's 490 yards passing, 7 TDs help Texas Tech put up 66 points in win - NCAA College Football Recap - ESPN

He still threw for 490 and 7 TDs and a pick.

I'll be interested to see how NU's secondary deals with the passing attack. I'd say if Tech's line can deal with Suh Tech has a good chance...however dealing with "House of Spears" is no simple task

Re: Texas Tech or Nebraska ?!?!?!

Pry depends on who's under center, I woulda taken the Huskers easily a couple weeks ago but now Im not sure. This is the type of team that will give Nebraska fits, I could see them losing in a shootout but I think they'll win since its at home.

Actually Steven Sheffield is the guy that has put up all the points the last 2 weeks, including the entire game last week against K-State, just saying.
