    2nd Quarter Grades

Comparing how the team has progressed from the first 3 games.
    http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...er-grades.html

These are my opinions for game 4 through 6.

    Offense: Overall B

    • QB, B-: AA is looking more comfortable.
    • RB, A-: Arob makes this offense go.
    • WR/TE, C+: Started out shaky but it looks like they are getting on same page as AA. Still some dropped passes though.
    • Oline, A-: These guys are good.

    Defense: Overall B-

    • Dline, C+: Their effectiveness really fell off since Parker's injury or does it coincide with Big 12 play?
    • LB, C+: Good at times but pass coverage is not their strength.
    • DB, B-: Dline is not helping them out. Where is Sims? At least they are tackling well.

    Special Teams: Overall B+

    • Punt Cover, A: I don't feel that lump in my throat any more when we punt.
    • Punt Return, B: Not explosive but I don't have to pray for a catch either.
    • Punting, A: See Oline.

    • Kick Cover, B+: No complaints
    • Kick Return, B+: I feel like we are on the verge to take it all the way.
    • Kicking, C+: Bad couple of games for Mahoney but came back against KU and that takes some cajones.

Offense looks like they are starting to get it. I think we'll see AA's numbers get better and better the last half of the season. The defense have been having their problems but give them credit they made a stop when the team needed it against KU.

Definitely would not give the defense a B- grade. That is an awfully generous grade. I would give them a C-. They have a long ways to go.

    Re: 2nd Quarter Grades

AA needs to prove he can perform in consecutive games. Baylor is big for him.
